Cosmic strings are still only a theoretical idea in cosmology that could add to our understanding of the universe. They are mathematical models describing invisible threads of pure energy important to the formation of galaxies in the early universe. Sometimes things exist that we can never see. But as an artist, I can be inspired by the beauty of an idea, as I am inspired by the pursuit of science and the mystery of life on earth and in the heavens. Asher Bilu August 2023
